This both is and isn't inspired by actual Fable 2 nonsense.
Cosmetic potions (height change, weight change, scar removal, etc.) being exclusively sold on an island that's part of paid DLC? Yes, 100%.
There being FREE DLC? As far as I can recall, no. There were pre-order bonuses if you wanted to dress up like Master Chief or play pub games, which sort of counts? In a way? Because it didn't cost extra, you just had to commit to getting the game early?
It counts enough that this is totally fair parody, in any case. OBVIOUSLY.

Fable 3 still sells a 'complete edition' which contains all the DLC....except it doesn't because the game's servers are down it won't serve the DLC to you.

The second Senran Kagura game had paid DLC that gave you the ability to adjust the breast size of each character, Best DLC. Can't wait for a PS4/PC port.
