Commentary
I needed something decidedly not-heroic for Susan to be doing in the last panel, and I'd recently been experimenting with changing buttons around in Fallout New Vegas.
Write what you know! And what I know is accidentally hitting friendly non-player characters with sledge hammers. A slight variation, but applicable nonetheless.

Reminds me of when I accidentally stole an ash yam in "Skyrim." What's especially ornery is that those are super cheap, but that didn't stop the shopkeepers from fighting me even after I dropped it. I saw no choice but to kill them and pay a guard a fine (for triple homicide). I missed being able to do business with them. All for an accidental click!
