Shrinking one or both mid-shot was always the plan, but it took several attempts to get one they were satisfied with.
Friends and family not familiar with Rhoda's powers had several questions, the answer to which was always "photoshop".

I wanted to make Rhoda's hair like a cartoon Christmas tree, and I think I did all right. Only issue now is I'm going to be tempted to draw her hair like that in general now.

Just decide that however she got the hair to look like that, it involved getting a permanent. ^_^

It looks like Lucy is a little smaller than Diane now, so I'm guessing Rhoda shrunk them both by the same amount so they could fit in the stockings, then shrunk Lucy again right as they took the photo. It also looks like Rhoda didn't include Lucy's clothes in the shrinking. :p

I wasn't sure if it was just me or if the tree hair was intentional, neat. I'd Approve of Year Round Christmas Tree Hair, looks nice.

Not used to seeing Rhoda in makeup, but the abs are a good touch. :) And you should definitely draw her hair like that in general now.
