Dan Shive

Justin's uncle wouldn't mind. He's the guy who established "yeah, just wear some manner of black shirt" as an employee dress code, after all.

Joshua Brumley

I was wondering about that myself, I doubt Justin's Uncle would approve that as a workshirt on general principle, assuming Justin's on the Job when that conversation took place.

...and the specific page is http://cheer.sailorsun.org/?comic=cheer-275...

Fairportfan

Actually, the sequence begins at http://cheer.sailorsun.org/?comic=cheer-264. TVTropes, in its entry for "Suspiciously Specific Denial" quotes Cheer as a perfect example: "I have no idea how that moose got in the dance team's dressing room."

Fairportfan

Nope - Cheer! was a webcomic that spun off from the webcomic The Wotch - about four cheerleaders who started out as obnoxious jocks until they pissed off Anne {The Wotch} and got transformed. The sequence {the final, incomplete sequence} i was referring to starts at http://cheer.sailorsun.org The comic begins at http://cheer.sailorsun.org/?comic=cheer. And The Wotch, for more transformation-based goodness, is at https://www.thewotch.com/

Alas, I can't find this anywhere. Are you talking about the TV series Cheer?

Fenrir

With his hairstyle, it was going to happen eventually anyway... ;)

The Future Trunks look, I can dig it

My favorite series on this topic (they're short, about a minute each) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-vI5tdORhC0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Yh35uWLBQ8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obAd0zAFMTI

Foradain

I understand that MWM is planning much the same for City of Titans, only more so.

Stephen Gilberg

I know of at least one example based on character class rather than gender: the original "Diablo." Metallic armor suitable for a knight looks like a cloak on the sorcerer.

Viktor

Morrowind had skirts and pants available to everyone. Stupid Bethesda got rid of that for no reason. Oh well. I’ll always have Saints Row.

Evan Sageser

I mean that's not totally innacurate considering that it's ostensibly a Superhero game. That 4' person could be Kryptonian or whatever and easily overpower people many times their size.

John Trauger

The old and recently revived game City of Heroes had a huge number of styling options. But it had its own brand of weirdness. Because it had no "gear" just abstract "enhancements" a characters appearance had nothing to do with the way they played. A character could be a 7' tall giant in battle armor, but their combat abilities would be the same if they were 4' tall in their underwear.

Dan Shive

I'm really not sure, myself, though it depends on how you interpret it. I imagine it as a light material. As a thick material, I could see potential issues, especially when sitting back against a chair.

Jere

LOL

Arina-Artemis S.

So what you're saying is, video games should have much wider styling options regarding clothing?

coredumperror

Does anyone else think Justin's outfit would be highly uncomfortable? I get the jibblies thinking about wearing a cropped jacket like that, for some reason.

Fairportfan

I'm remembering the armour Lydia took off the big ugly orc when she and Alex were in the game near the end of CHEER!...
