The logic behind my choice of Carol to be a bell-wielding Town Crier in this storyline were as follows:
- Oh hey, there's a reporter companion in Fallout 4. I have a reporter! She should be a companion in my open world parody storyline!
- Huh. I'm not sure what the fantasy equivalent of a reporter is. I'm not sure there is one, but Town Criers report news, right? Sort of? Yeah.
- Town Criers have bells!
Shortly after she showed up, people started reacting like "oh, hey! Carol of the bells! Clever!"
Uh... Yeah. Totally intentional reference! Ha ha ha
No seriously how do I keep making unintentional puns and references like that

*is struck by the need to make the obvious "Carol testing the limits of that enchantment" suggestion for a pin-up* *remembers I lowered my pledge at the last minute last month because $ was tight and I had one of two conventions this year coming up* *raises pledge back up*

Me too.

Well, now I have to try watching Xena again.

Gabrielle started out her career as a reporter by following Xena and singing about her exploits.
Daryl Sawyer
Ah, like Aqua. Sort of.

Speaking of unintentional puns, the last time I played a bard I accidentally got the party attacked. While we were camped in the wilderness the others threatened to burn my instrument. I yelled "Don't you touch my lute!" Some wandering bandits overheard and attacked to get my loot. *Sigh*

So... a literal MAGIC SKIRT. https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/MagicSkirt nice.

Works for me. :)
I prefer to assume she's not.
Dan Shive
No. It's a dress with a ridiculously short skirt. It has an enchantment on it that keeps her modest from any angle, however.

Honest question: Is Carol wearing pants? I can't tell.
