An artifact made by Ashley-Circe is going to be user friendly. A random artifact found in some tomb, however? User friendliness not guaranteed.
For example, an artifact that modifies someone's figure might come with the side of effect of magically increased narcissism.
Granted, depending on who seeks an artifact like that out, there's no guarantee anyone would notice.

It's an item in the D&D book. Been there since the early days, I think.
The more I see of Diane in this, the more she looks like Coco from Jormungaand.

Indeed! HackMaster 4th edition also has an anklet version with multiple variants.

If you think about it, the balance scales ARE "cursed" if they're used without the other party's consent. In that if you want to make a certain part bigger, you have to take that from someone else or vice versa. It's just that it'd be a curse for the other party, not for you.

If you want to be bigger in places, Circe might have given an example of a <a href="http://egscomics.com/egsnp/nanasecraft-25" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">curse effect.</a>

"I'm paying six million for curse avoidance, thank you very much."

Girdle of gender change ahoy!

We talking cursed as in "it's a curse to be this good looking" or the regular bad kind?
