I was at something of a loss as to how to transition back to Diane and company.
I decided to go for silly.
Silly is good.
Also, yes, I continue to experiment with Diane's hairstyle. It's not like she didn't have some free time while Nanase and Sarah were getting the scales for her.

Dan whenever you are lost for where to go, you can always go back to the well of silly... :) This is one of those strips that sums up why I hang out here, It's cute, sexy and silly all at once and in the way I like all three of those things delivered.
Diane is paying $10-20 million, of which Nanase Craft is getting $7-14 million because Sarah's getting 30%.
Is that just me or the ammount she will get paid keeps changing?

The juxtaposition of the two is really what makes each work - the knowledge that (this version of) Diane can flip between the two at the drop of a hat.

While I agree fangirl Diane is cute, I find "just as planned" Diane in panel 2 much more compelling.
