If Ashley were evil, she'd be the sort to be nice to get in people's good graces, then manipulate everyone to hate each other, for no reason other than to enjoy the chaos that results.

Nanase is one of my favorite characters, but it makes me sad when she's suspicious of Ashley for no reason. It's like watching someone kick a puppy.
