🕑 Added 2019-01-25 23:11:36 +0000 UTCI had a bit of trouble wrapping my brain around how big Nanase should be if gaining the size taken from Sarah, but an obvious thing in retrospect is that Nanase HAD to wind up less than approximately 125.99% her normal size.
This is because that's the cubed root of 2, and 125.99% normal size would be 2:1 scale. Whatever size Nanase wound up, it had to be less than 2:1 given that she and Sarah started out identical.
What's a little surprising to me is just how close Nanase got to that at 125.67% size when Sarah is 1:4 scale. I think of 1:4 scale as small, yes, but not THAT small. 0.25 cubed is 0.015625 (1.56%), so holy wow.

Yes, 3 dimensions has fun and sometimes not-so-fun side effects with mass. It took me a moment to realize that you were holding mass between Sarah and Nanase constant and shrinking Sarah + growing Nanase. It looks like symbols 1 and 3 have to do with what happens to each girl and the middle one is how balance is kept. large ellipse - small ellipse would be large size, small size with the balance at mass. If true one wonders what happens when different symbols go in each of the pans. For example the stereotypical brains vs bust. With mass remaining as the balance point for simplicity. If Sarah got "bust" and Nanase got brains and mass stayed the same, tipping the scales to Sarah would literally pad Sarah's bra with Nanase's brains. The other way would flatten Sarah out and give Nanase a swelled head. :)

This place is a veritable Wonderland.
Well, if you take a 6' adult and go to 1/4 scale height that's 18" tall. Or, about the height of an average newborn human. If you think about how much a newborn weighs vs. a grown adult... yeah, it makes sense. (I mean, the comparison is *very* imperfect, newborns are not proportioned anything like adults and have very different fat and weight distribution, bone density, etc. But it's useful as a familiar baseline to compare against.)
