It does other stuff too, I'll have you know.
Commentary
And now, a glimpse into the brilliant mind of... an ARTIST.
"I want people to have a general idea of the relative heights of Cheerleadra and Tedd (with Cheerleadra's boots on, anyway), so I'll show them from a zoomed out, flat angle in panel one."
"Oh no. The basement background looks awful from that angle, and there's too much negative space for just a flat lightgrey with a shadow at the top, or anything like that! What the heck do I do?!"
"Um uh maybe I don't know um..."
"BUBBLES!"

Yar, I remember that, back in late 2015. http://egscomics.com/comic/2015-12-09

Elliot was thinking of the Uryuom worker suits as he transformed to show Ashley, Diane and Charlotte, which resulted in Cheerleadra 2.0 having a "painted on" looking costume
KiTA
Well, I'm thinking more about "without the costume." Didn't his sleepwear turn all goth and smexy once because of that? Heck, wouldn't that be the most perfect time for someone else to walk in? Grace wouldn't be phased, Sarah would immediately have lewd thoughts, etc etc. :P
Daryl Sawyer
A knife would probably poke a small hole in the cloth, unless you sliced with it, in which case, if it's sharp enough, it would likely slice the cloth.
Daryl Sawyer
Big boobs... big boobs...
KiTA
Doesn't his subconscious thoughts affect what his shape's outfits look like? ... Well, I'm sure that won't come up. Best not to think about it. :P
ZekeStaright
The bubbles add to Tedd's "Bwuh" moment.

tbh, if your skin was honest-to-goodness bullet proof, then your clothes wouldn't get bullet holes either (at least not skin-tight clothes like Supes' outfit): Bullets don't "cut" holes in things like scissors or knives: they push forward until they force the material to tear because it can't keep going. If your skin has no give, then the bullet has nowhere to push your clothes to, ergo a bullet proof superhero's clothing only needs to be fire-proof (because bullets are hot: they're metal and started life adjacent to an explosion) EDIT: Well, I mean that's how Knives work too, I guess, but knifes use a fine edge, where the end of a bullet is relatively blunt by comparison.

I'm so confused... how does this work so damn well?
Adama
I wonder if Elliot used the "alternate" Cheerleadra form, would Tedd's head explode? ... Will Ashley be sharing the pictures she took at the upcoming party?
John Trauger
At least the boots aren't tracking in any mud or dirt...
Stephen Gilberg
Those aren't UGG boots. :P
Adama
It would be nice to see Cheerleadra flying around in normal clothes, it's always cool when regular superheroines do that.
Adama
You're not helping Tedd's blush, Elliot!
Christen Lester-Jones
It just keeps getting more adorable!
