Commentary
When I first conceived of this storyline, I wasn't planning to comment directly on how metaphors and allegory can fall apart under scrutiny and/or nitpicking (the latter still being scrutiny, but of the sort that makes others roll their eyes).
Then the ideas I liked most messed up the cohesiveness of many interpretations of what "pizza" could represent, and I was left with the one direction to go in.
Granted, I like the direction. I just didn't know I was going to be going that way when I first decided to finally have a comic with someone trash talking something in a something shop.

I would not be surprised if Ashley really is just overthinking it because she seems the kind of person to do that, but I'd like to make a case that overthinking things on purpose can be fun. That's where Game/Film Theories come from (and other things that aren't the names of youtube channels I watch)

That's similar, but that was primarily about dismissing the entirety of a work made by multiple people because one person who worked on it was a jerk. The bit at the end fits, but I was talking about the specific sort of beginning, middle and end that was in the second comic of this storyline.
