I like to think there's 2 layers of canon here: There's the Story canon, and then there's a layer of canon one meta-level above that, which is the level containing all "non-canon" events, including Dan's avatar, which is a being in that meta-reality not unlike Q, except they care about consent to shenanigans. The Story Canon reality, in that layer, is just Dan's Avatar and their friends putting on a kind of Webcomic Show.

FWIW these days they probably use CPR mask rather than direct mouth-to-mouth. That's what I was trained on in EMT school because of all the diseases one can catch these days. Of course in this context, being comfortable with mouth-to-mouth certainly makes sense.

Susan’s just being practical in panel 3. Less clothes in summer = more comfortable. That fact that less clothes = sexier is just a bonus. :)

You choose wisely. It makes PERFECT SENSE and the only thing that I thought of beforehand was the need to be comfortable with personal contact for CPR.
