Turns out the enchantment is literal: IE, when she makes a jump shot, they grow taller, or shorter when she's crouched. XD

Possibly. I really was just trying to provide a clear visual reference, and that was an accurate one. Maybe I should have said "sternum" out of fairness to the other options ^^;
