As a straight-ish guy, my eyes have always been drawn toward the lower abdomen, especially if there's some hair peeking out: works great on both male & female forms.

Jason Rock

Even Chuck Norris only has an eight-pack. ;)

mykalwane spirt of gender shrug they greater than she, she greater than he.

The thing that bothers me it looks one of those fake boobs deals.

PBManning

Also, I realize that much of my suggestion on making sexy guys still involved shirtlessness, but my point was that the majority of male pinups have been 'muscular guy in just shorts' while the girls have been in a greater variety of outfits and situations.

PBManning

Anyway, thank you kindly for your polite response and for your quality content. Your comic helped me with being trans, and the pinups are extremely delightful.

PBManning

Well, I'm pretty firmly a lesbian, but I imagine that male pinups can utilize the same broad techniques that one uses to make sexy outfits for women. Off the top of my head, a vest+bow tie without the shirt might be worth trying. Or just look to male performance artists who wear tight outfits- male ballet dancers and figure skaters are fairly sexy last I checked. Even the classic "shirtless firefighter."

Dan Shive

I would welcome feedback on the subject.

PBManning

Not that I'm complaining about the content, but it kinda feels like there's a lot more variety to how girls are sexy than guys. "Shirtless" is almost the only thing we've seen for 'sexy guy.' There's got to be more options than that.

Scotty

It's basically if Elliot had gotten a spell that had an effect a lot like the Tea. That's how I'm viewing it anyway.

John Trauger

Something for everyone in that review show... Personally, a normal T-shirt on Susan is preferable but whatever pleases more patrons...

Marika Oniki

It's a pinup of a highly unlikely scenario, and under that scenario, neither of them A) realize these changes are happening until the end/derailment of the review, and B) have any intention to release the resulting video(s) to the public.

McClaw

Maybe they decide to do two reviews of each movie, one to post and one for their private collection. But only one (the second) of certain select movies they started watching just for -- inspiration. (wink)

Harmony Petersen

That... is an awful lot of ab muscles. I do not think people get that many ab muscles.

Dan Shive

Chris - It's okay to not like a pinup, but please refrain from excessively lengthy comments like this in general.

Scotty

Someone already coined the phrase Danfiction for the Touch Practice pinup I believe.

I do not like this Susan. I like this Elliot less for hanging out with this Susan. Her presence and her hand on his thigh reflect badly on him. I like canon Susan. I approve of her personality. This is a rare thing for me irl. Self-insert fanfiction me might awkwardly tell her that he approves of her personality, and then not know what to say next. I also like "touching practice" Susan, but she's not all that different from canon Susan. This Susan ... this is Susie or maybe even Tiffany. I am not approving. I am also not approving of any audience more receptive to this Susie's movie reviews than to those of canon Susan.
Susan doesn't need a self-confidence boost to speak in public. She doesn't need larger breasts to boost her self-confidence. She wouldn't approve of wearing that to speak in public. I can't believe she'd want to repeat anything that resulted in her looking and dressing like that, no matter how glad she was to be willing to touch another person for a half hour or so.
Also, that lipstick. Susan wearing garish lipstick? No. Susan wearing lipstick without knowing how to use lip-liner? Also no. (Sidenote: I also approve of the personality of the girl whose problem with met-art was that the models don't seem to know how to use lip-liner.)
For everyone's viewing pleasure:
http://mugeek.vidalondon.net/beautiful-actresses-without-makeup/
http://freephotos.atguru.in/hdphotos/beautiful-celebrities-without-makeup/selena-gomez-without-make-up.jpg

Both the lipstick and her facial expression are so far out of character as to make Susan look like an entirely different person. She’s like an alternate universe Susan who was raised in Texas, competes in beauty contests, and has a Limbaughist view of feminism. I know these aren’t supposed to be remotely canon, and the Danfic is sexy … but the artwork is so very far from the “real” Susan, I don’t need to be gay to feel the way Luke felt about Slave Leia.

Nasala

I'd imagine that's a result of the spell which seems to also be implied to have a mental aspect.

My only "complaint" about this (and it's a small one) is that Susan appears to be wearing lipstick, something I am pretty sure she would never do. I know Dan recently commented about changing the way he draws lips, but here, it looks out of place.

Ariamaki

I am all in favor of both the name Danfiction, and the actual continuing Danfiction. :V

Connie Edogawa

not entirely positive? I apologize if my word choice was confusing. that was meant to be 100% positive. weird =/= bad. in fact, given the way gender is treated by the cast, I wouldn't be surprised if someone in-universe ends up nicknaming Elliot "One Punch Man*" and verbally say the word asterisk every time, with the asterisk being a footnote marker, and the footnote being "subject to constant change."

Connie Edogawa

you call it the April Fool's 04 EGSNP storyline, or one like it, and then wait for it to evolve into a "canon" AU and start suggesting Pinups from it.

Dan Shive

He compared my work to One Punch! "Yes, but not in an entirely positive..." One PUNNNNNNNNCH! *Hums theme while running around*

Graeme Lewis

You're not alone, and in this case I think it really, really fits.

Emtu

What do you call essentially fanfiction but written by the original author? In this case I kinda want to call it Danfiction.

Connie Edogawa

I like this, but it also feels weird to see their faces on such radically different bodies. it's like when they pan up on Saitama during his physical tests for the Hero Exams in One Punch Man. you have this well sculpted body with plenty of muscles... and then a much less serious looking head. you brain registers that it's one person, but it feels like someone photoshopped your own vision.

The proportions are a bit too exaggerated for my taste, but the Danfiction is a delight par excellance.
