Frieren and this show aired at the same time. I was shocked that 2 shows this good came out at the same time. They ended up being my favorite 2 animes ever made, and I watch a lot of anime

So far, I had already watched the animes that Sophie reacted to, so there weren't really any surprises for me haha. With Apothecary Diaries, however, I'm completely stepping into unknown territory, so it's going to be a discovery experience. Given the positive feedback, the show seems definitely worth watching.
