mental health update : not good
🕑 Added 2021-06-16 13:09:22 +0000 UTCi have started a new antidepressant 3 weeks ago and i have been on a bad decline and feel worse than i did before starting and so i cannot focus on work right now. the only thing i need to focus on doing is making sure i stay okay and its taking all the energy i can muster to do even that. i cannot contact my doctor until my virtual visit next week.
i want to apologize because since my mental illness has progressed as i go into my mid-20s, my work has started to suffer greatly. i want nothing more than to feel better and get back into gear with GOJII but with as bad as i have been feeling lately i have withdrawn from the music scene and slipping away into irrelevancy. i feel i am doing my fans a disservice by not focusing on GOJII but i just need to be stable and feeling better. im so srry.

I'm all for doing what you need to do for your health. I have a big ol block of your music at the top of the alphabetical list that I can go to anytime I need that certain bump in enthusiasm, but I'm not so desperate that I couldn't think of you're health as a person and as a creator. Anytime you get the chance to follow your feelings and make what you want to make I'm going to give it a chance, always. And you've done quite a lot to go back to in the meantime. We're here to support you, not drag you through the dirt trying to chase a feeling of what you think people want out of you. Keep that drive to create at the ready when it's reasonable to do so, and we'll be here for you in the meantime. You're still just as relevant to me as the first time I discovered your music, that's for sure <3

i am also stepping away from twitter since that is a place of toxicity and people there do not care whether or not i am okay, i lose followers whenever i post a mental health update there, so fuck that place
