I do actually recommend brims if you are having issues :)

I had this file fail quite a few times. Same issue as some others, it would come off the plate. Though I know this is not typically recommended for articulated prints, I added a brim. It comes off super easily AND successful prints every time.

It likely layer shifted. If you don't believe me you are welcome to check out the slice for yourself and see that the model isn't fused in any way :)

Have a Anycubic Kobra Plus, when I printed the snake, two of the links stuck together in the coil, no problem, but when I went to pull apart the top of the snake broke off. Further inspection, I noticed the top of the first 15 links didn't print right. I thought it was my 3D printer or the filament I used but after seeing comments I don't think it is.

I saw the crystal snake and the "upgrade" to access button popped up. Followed those steps even though it said archived. I set up my membership again, but I can't find the link for the download. Is it gone? I have never been real Patreon saavy in downloading files in other months so maybe I'm not in the right place.

Print lifted off of plate. Three at 60%. (Fail at tail and mid point at the body with about five hours left) Gonna go cry now because they were beautiful.

What size? I just tried an 80% and ran into the same issue on Bambu P1S

ive printed a dozen of these on various bambu models with no issues

A gentle reminder the models are tested between 60-100% :) I do not guarantee they will work outside of that range.

Same here.. i try 50% and 55 % same for you ?... Maybe that's the cause? I tried with a 3mm edge it's the same thing

I'm getting the same print failure as Anthony mentions. Same thing every print at random times, the print lifts from the bed causing layer shift, and i run a cryogrip bed. 5 attempts, 5 failures..

There is nothing wrong with the model. It has more links than most dragons do. Make sure you are using a brim and keeping things slow :)

I have absolutely no issues printing any of your other models however I have tried to print this one five time now and it fails every single time. Sometimes it fails a quarter way through and sometimes about half way through but it always fails. The problem is that it does not stay stuck to the bed, I understand this sounds like an adhesion problem of mine but it is definitely not I never have adhesion problems with this K1 Max, only with this print. I even printed one of your wolf dragons and a crystal dragon in between fails just to make sure. I tried using the settings you have posted and several other variations to no avail. I think their may be something wrong with this model.

I printed this snake yesterday and I am in love! It is my all time favorite print ever. I love the movement, flexibility and overall feel. I'm hoping for more amazing snakes in the future ❤️

You need to make sure your slicer has 4 colors then bring in the file :)

It may just be a me issue or misunderstanding but the file labeled as 4 color is only showing up with two colors in Bambu Studio for me. Not really a big problem but just wanted to let you know!

Orcaslicer is very similar to Bambu studio and is an alternative if you have issues with a file or one of the multicolor files.

You can just hit ok and it'll load in without issue

I keep getting the error "due to the lower version of Bambu Studio this 3MF file cannot be fully loaded. Please update" BUT I have the newest version??

60-100% is the scale that I test in! some folks go lower but anything below that will be up to you and your printer!

Make sure that you open Bambu Studio first, have 4 colors loaded up in the Prepare screen, then bring the 3mf in :)

make sure your slicer has 4 filaments in the slicer before bringing in the 3mf :)
