Hi Cinders!
This is a really exciting design release for me! Bringing you all the Tiny Hummingbird! THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE ANIMALS and I just had to make it!
As most Cinderwing3D "Tiny" Designs, the original size is usually pretty big. The "TINY" come in where they have been designed with bigger links to be STRONGER and capable of printing at smaller, ACTUAL TINY sizes.
I went through several renditions specifically to test bed adhesion for the wings! I'm happy with where it is at now BUT since it is a taller model, if you do have adhesion issues please use a brim!
I also went a little overboard on the .3MF Color Files! With the help of Admin Jazzy, we are giving you all (6) .3MF Color File Options! We usually test everything between 60-100%, but this one was tested down to 30%!

All my designs are print-in-place (unless otherwise specified) and require no supports. All you need is a clean bed and you're off!
Designs are tested between 60%-100% for strength and articulation! I will not release a design that is too fragile at these sizes. All designs go through our Cinder Test Team!
Print Settings: .2 Layer height, 15% infill, gyroid infill, no brim, and no supports. (If there are smaller parts of your print that have a hard time staying stuck to the plate, please try a brim around those parts) Any errors regarding floating regions can be safely ignored.

I am so happy you made these! I have to say...I was very concerned about the beak with no support, but they came out perfect! I put 6 of them at 60% on my A1 and they are gorgeous! Now I am running a bedful at 50%. BTW...I always do a brim on everything I print. Not so tight that it takes post processing, but I think it helps.

Printed at 50% on an A1 came out perfect, beaks printed very cleanly. This may be my favorite design of all time. My mom is going to love it!

Ok. So I printed 9 at 50%, full color. 36+ hours and I'm not happy the beaks failed on 7. I immediately pulled the plate from my X1C very carefully so not to pop anything, and on the 7 that failed, the feet had come loose. The 2 that were OK were still stuck to the plate. If I bother to try again, I'll add a brim....I guess? Anyone know what setting for the brim not to ruin the feet?

Yeah, fairly normal with most mmu prints. I just need to invest in a tool changer to prevent waste. :-) I'm sure I can justify that expenditure with the wife.

I'd highly recommend doing purge calibrations but at the end of the day, they are painted to be like hummingbirds which are doing to be a little complex. That's just multicolor printing for you!

I absolutely love the design, it's gorgeous! From a painted 3MF perspective, I just wish there were some options that created lest waste. Using default settings, and printing 8 @60% on a plate, I get nearly 300g of purge. Definitely open to suggestions/recommendations to reduce the amount of purge/waste.
