Hi Cinders!
Bringing you all these two themed Fidget Spinners: Crystal and Rose!
I've been wanted to make spinners for a while now! There was a lot of trial, error, and testing to get to the point where I was actually happy with one!
Most fidget spinners require assembly, and I really didn't want that for this design; so I set out to make the most effective print-in-place version I could. There were many prior renditions/designs that just didn't have the right free spin. Finally, I got the design down to where it spins the best it possibly can being entirely print-in-place! - And I'm so happy with it!

All my designs are print-in-place (unless otherwise specified) and require no supports. All you need is a clean bed and you're off!
Designs are tested between 60%-100% for strength and articulation! I will not release a design that is too fragile at these sizes. All designs go through our Cinder Test Team!
Print Settings: .2 Layer height, 15% infill, gyroid infill, no brim, and no supports. (If there are smaller parts of your print that have a hard time staying stuck to the plate, please try a brim around those parts) Any errors regarding floating regions can be safely ignored.

They are awesome prints. I was wondering if a little bit of silicon spray would help reduce friction ? Love that we don't have to muck around with bearings.

Ohh ny new flavorite. I printed them in clear transparent and set them on a color changing base, so very cool. A fidget and a cool light for your desk.

Please check the videos attached to the post. They spin but they'll never be like a fidget spinner with a proper metal bearing :)

printed 2 rose spinners at 60% and love this size. Wondering if they are supposed to stop spinning quickly though? they donβt spin for a super long time

It would be amazing to have a version of the rose with a hole on the bottom where you could attach a stem (probably printed separately). That way you could make a bouquet of them!

Ok now I got them to spin... lol so if you have 5 layers on the bottom π€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈ that'll make it so they don't spin or are totally sealed.....

These are amazing I did a few big ones and at 60% scale and both came out perfect also ot seems the 60% version spins better and more quiet this are amazing can't wait for other designs of these

Ive already made a dozen of the rose ones and you cant tell that they are spinners if you were to just set them down on a table or whatever but, I think you could put a drop of glue at the bottom to stop them from moving if you really needed them to. π€·πΌββοΈ just a thought
