Important Seller Updates: Regarding Temu, Alibaba, and general sales!

Today we have some fancy administration stuff in regards to our sellers!
We’ve been getting a lot of reports lately from Temu and Alibaba of Cinderwing3D dragons being sold without license. We have never allowed for these types of sales and our TOS (which you can read here) reflects that. Furthermore, we are officially banning selling through the platforms TEMU and Alibaba, in addition to all drop-shipping sites/platforms. It is important to us to protect the thousands of small businesses across the world who sell Cinderwing Dragons and we have issued takedowns left and right. We thank you all for the support and reports you’ve been sending in over email and Discord!
We will continue to fight these bad actors to the best of our ability!
That being said we’d like to also add some reminders! These are compiled from a list of questions we’ve been getting a lot of recently.
- You may NOT use Cinderwing3D photos for your own listings. If you are doing, so please swap them out for your own photos. We have never allowed this and many sites like Etsy are now cracking down on the use of “stock” photos. So this is as much for us as it is for you!
- You may NOT use OTHER user’s photos either. I cannot stress enough, please use your OWN photos.
- Your subscription allows you to sell PHYSICAL PRINTS, you may NEVER distribute STLs, 3MFs, or any of my digital files including Makerworld, Thingiverse, anywhere!
- This also includes paintjobs, which are done via 3MFs, you can share those with the community through the Cinderwing3D email (contactcinderwing3d@gmail.com), or Discord Tickets!
- Filling out the seller form is super important. It helps us be able to check your shops quickly.
- Patreon messages generally will not be answered, PLEASE use email or Discord for any reports or inquiries.
- You can sell physical prints of past models as long as you bought them! Files are only sold on Cults3D, MyMiniFactory, and Etsy. The important thing is that you are subscribed!

As long as you are not using my photos on YOUR listings that's all I'm worried about. If you wanna direct folks to my site or cults or something that is fine.

I was confused as number 2 in the Terms and Conditions states that the license gives you the right to use images. (which i didnt want to do, i just wanted to use a link to the Cults3D page or something to give people a general idea of what I would be printing, I attempted to clarify in the discord and was met almost Immediately with "the use of lawyers" instead of an explanation. It seemed very hostile so i left the discord.) Im still unsure of being able to send someone to a website owned by Cinderwing3D to advertise what models i print. To clarify, i do not have a website, nor do i intend to use the images from cinderwing3d to advertise "this is what im selling" if the use of a link to a Cinderwing3D site is permitted it would be made clear that the models in the pictures are NOT MY PRINTS.

i try to let you know when i see something like this. i see your design at a local grocery store with no authorized seller badge. idk if the individual has the rights as they are older models of yours. lmk if you need more info
