HI CINDERS!
THIS ONE WAS FUN! I had HIGH EXPECTATIONS for my next dice tower. I wanted it to be Portable with dice storage, have amazing sound when the dice fall through it, have a longer "fall" time for more fun and sound, wanted it to hang so you could easily take it anywhere, be interactive where it didn't just sit there was playable, be functional at the smallest size possible, and cost the least amount if time and filament I possibly could - ALL while maintaining strength and durability!
This one took 2 months to perfect and we ended with a final version that has a 3 nub lock that works with a great range of filament types, sizes, tolerances! It also looks great in all filaments with a single reel! This design has been tested and is functional down to 60% (as shown in the pictures). 60% fits the little 10mm die that I have attached in a link HERE. 100% fits full size die.
This dice tower works as it sounds: you put the dice in at the top, it falls down to the bottom, you flip it over like an hourglass, and the dice fall again. You can either dump them into your hand or let them fall onto the table and pick up the hourglass to show your die. the die do sometimes catch inside but a little shake gets them free!

I have to give credit to my amazing husband for brainstorming with me on this one. We went over every aspect and expectation we could and nitpicked through several renditions to find the perfect design!

All my designs are print-in-place (unless otherwise specified) and require no supports. All you need is a clean bed and you're off!
Designs are tested between 60%-100% for strength and articulation! I will not release a design that is too fragile at these sizes. All designs go through our Cinder Test Team!
Print Settings: .2 Layer height, 15% infill, gyroid infill, no brim, and no supports. (If there are smaller parts of your print that have a hard time staying stuck to the plate, please try a brim around those parts) Any errors regarding floating regions can be safely ignored.

I test them between 60-100% but honestly this one scales fairly well so I imagine you can get it pretty large but at the end of the day, it depends on the size of your dice!

Anyone printed at 110 to 130% yet. I like the towers bigger, but I wonder if my standard dice set will fall through the openings at 130%?

No supports needed! I printed with just a brim, and the hourglass and the top cap are in one file so you don't have to print them separately. Never did I feel like the positioning of the two objects was interfering with the other being printed.
