Josh got started with us but he's ready and excited to start his own thing! He's been working hard on new models and has some additional bugs available in his shop. If you don't know of Josh, he is Richie's little brother and we introduced him when he released his first model with us, The Steampunk Spider: https://www.patreon.com/posts/bonus-drop-73497645
Please rest assured Josh, and all other designers that have created though us have always been fully compensated for their work. The models he's made through Cinderwing3D are:
- Steampunk Spider
- Steampunk Ant
- Steampunk Rhino Beetle
- Steampunk Dragon Fly
- Steampunk Scorpion
- Steampunk Praying Mantis
- Steampunk Pincher Bug
These models that have been released through Cinderwing3D will remain covered under our Commercial License for shops. Although they are exclusives on here, we are granting him access to sell most of them on his Cults3D page as well. Future models moving forward, however, will NOT be released through Cinderwing3D and will be under separate License detailed by Josh. If you need support with any of his future models you will need to reach out to Josh directly, as we cannot fix issues on our side going forward.
He is currently focused on Cults3D but is interested in offering a commercial license on his own if people are interested. Please let us know if you would be.
We are so excited to support him on this new journey! Thank you all for your support for him as well! He has loved hearing all your kind comments and excitement for his bugs - It means so much to him!

I printed the Scorpion in Red PLA and it came out flawless! Every joint moves, and I didn't need supports or brim, saving me filament! I can't wait to print off the rest in this pack! Thanks Josh for the cool models!

This is an intended feature of these designs. These are more posable than they are articulated models so please keep this in mind! They are also not intended for resin due to this.

Hello, these models look quite good, but I am just wondering how the joints are coming out for those who have printed these at 100% scale. I ask because when I slice the print for my machine at 0.2mm layer height with a 0.4mm nozzle, the joints look like they will fuse together and not be able to move. The joints only look like they'll be able to move when I scale the prints up to about 250%

i have printed all of these today and they have all turned out amazing. the scorpion turned out the best i like how i can hang it from the stinger.

thats amazing! i hope he sees the love we have for his models! Is there any sort of cinder/josh seller combo seller badge that you two can create so that in like a year when these posts are long gone/hard to find, we have that in our listings online for legitimacy? i know it most likely wont ever be an issue since he started with models for you..but i am creating my online listings now and just wanted to have a unique badge for them

Torture tests for my printers. So I will be happy to run them out when I have more than 4 hours of continius electricy again. Not likley as the government run, sole electricity supplier, under law, has done the country over good.
