We'd like to introduce Josh, who is Richie's little brother. He is an accomplished artist and has been modeling online projects for a couple of years.
He was excited to try making 3d designs for printing, and after he designed, printed and finally held his first 3d design in his hand, he was instantly hooked! We have been impressed by his style and wanted to give him a chance to share his designs with the community!
Josh is autistic and has had a hard time finding where he fits best in the world. It would be a dream come true for him to be successful in designing 3d prints. We hope you enjoy his creativity.

This model is amazing, prints fast and clean. It also has a very cool trick up its sleeve, which we are calling it the Impossible Hinge. When examined in the slicer, the joint looks fused, however the legs will still articulate and hold their position! This unique type of joint makes it incredibly posable.
Please keep in mind that this type of joint has not been extensively tested and should be considered experimental.
It is also entirely possible to break/snap the joint, either by excessive force, or excessive repetitive articulation. It has been successfully tested at 100 and 150%. Feel free to print at other sizes, however we can’t guarantee that those sizes will be fully/partially functional.
Your commercial sales license is also extended to this release, as will all releases under Cinderwing3D. We are excited to see your spiders come to life.
This release is an Bonus Exclusive:
- They are included in your Patreon/Tribes Subscription
- They are covered by your Commercial License to sell this specific printed model
- There is no pre-determined regularity when/if these releases will happen. Essentially, they will be fun new things to print and sell, if/when they happen.

I'm concerned because I was thinking of selling these, but it's not worth the grief if the legs fall off after lots of manipulation. Still – nice looking beast!

Looking at in the slicer, you're right – those pivots are fused. They must shear when you start to move it. I'm a little concerned that it'll fall apart as it frees up? Guess I'll have to print one and see :)
