how's it going?
🕑 Added 2023-05-07 16:27:20 +0000 UTCnot wanting to be pessimist or anything but I lost a few days of work.
The software that I use, Autodesk Maya, is amazing and comparing it to Blender I only still use it because animating in Maya is better than Blender, although you can make amazing things on Blender I still prefer Maya to this day
Maya is also known for having bugs, bugs that made me reset the software more times in the last 5 months than I've ever had to do since I've started using the program, the bugs are pretty straightforward and they only happen because of very specific circumstances. Working with Maya you need to be able to know what is causing these bugs and find a workaround be it the hard way or just doing whatever you started from the beginning.
The TL;DR is that I lost and am unable ( until now ) to recover 2 Gwen animations I was going to render, one of them is the first second of the link above, and some progress that was made on the Riven model. It isnt the end of the world but its a learning curve that I am still facing by changing to a recent version of the software.
As always thank you for being here and Ill show more during this week, be seeing you
