The lines in Gintama are really something else, whether for drama or comedy. One of the reasons why it's still my number 1!

One of the reason I love Gintama, all that wisdom words, tugging at your heartstring moments without being cheesy at all ❤️ last 2 eps are fillers i think

I love the Tama arc. The line "Even now, I can't offer any word of gratitude or tears..." was something that stuck out to me from my first watch. It really gives us insight into Gintoki, that whole arc in particular does. And completely agree with your thoughts about cheesy anime lines. It's not like Gintama lines are not cheesy, but they also really hit. There are so many life lessons in Gintama you can actually and genuinely take into yourself. You can't follow a friend to the end of the earth, or shout your opinion at them when they are being stupid in one way or another and expect it to work. But showing genuine feelings can be hard for many, so just start with a smile.
