CakeMix is for Windows PCs. See System Requirements at the end of this post.
This version has a proper installer, so just run it and when it's finished you'll be good to go.
I've replaced the installer with a zip file as more people are comfortable with that. Just unzip it where you like and then run the cakemix file inside the folder where you unzipped it.

Character CreatorWhat's new in this update?
Character Creator: Make your own characters and chat with them. The Creator has been fully redesigned based on the original (way back) version, and now has many more features. Check it out!
Character Generator: Need a good start for a new character? In the Generator, you can dial in what you want, from age range to skin tone, to weight, and more. Keep clicking and you never know who'll pop up. Lots of sexy variety if you're into that.
Character GeneratorDownloaded Characters: This is for characters you've downloaded from other people. It's still in the works, as there's no easy way yet to share characters, but... for now I've put three new characters in there so you can see how it works.
Custom Scenarios: With your custom and downloaded characters, you can now write your own scenarios, then save them for later. Add additional characters, etc. Set the scene how you like! And if you need a head-start, there's a whole set of Starter Scenarios to choose from, for all heat levels from cold start to EXTREME.
Chat Logs: If you turn on Chat Logging in Settings, you'll get nicely formatted chat pages you can read to your heart's content. It's your own private treasure trove of sexy stories to revisit over and over.
Lighting Rig: There's a new Lighting setup where you can choose the lighting for your scenarios, photos, etc. I put a bunch of lighting stuff in there and I'll add more over time.
Music Player: Click the little music player button on the lower left of the screen (while in story mode) and you can choose from various tracks, put them on repeat, etc.
Multiple Fixes, Additions, and Improvements: There's a bunch of stuff in here that wasn't here before. I fixed bugs, added things, and made lots of improvements to the UI, AI, etc.
You can find a whole list of my changes, etc. on the site, if you're interested in the nitty-gritty. It's literally a text list I kept during developing this new version. It's messy and might make little sense in some places, but if you would like to see it (all 164 lines of it), it's here.

* Special Note for AMD GPU Users on Windows
If the game’s AI runs only on CPU (extremely slow), it means the runtime is failing to use your graphics card. By default it tries CUDA (NVIDIA only), then AMD HIP (not supported on Windows), and finally falls back to CPU.
To fix this:
Open the CakeMix install folder.
Find the folder named windows-hip.
Rename it (e.g. windows-hip.bak) or delete it.
Restart CakeMix. It will now use Vulkan on your AMD card, which is much faster.
This change is safe, because HIP doesn’t work on Windows anyway. And... This only affects the game’s AI runtime. Do not touch any HIP or AMD folders outside the CakeMix install folder.

Orion Matrix: Thanks! That's a great idea to have the character ask questions to get an idea about the player. I'll give that some deep thought and see what I can come up with. Nice. :) The 100 character "limit" isn't really a hard limit, it's just to gently remind the player that typing too much might confuse the AI, so keeping things simple helps keep it stable. Since these are smaller LLMs that can get confused easily, I felt that the limit reminder helps a bit. So yeah, you can definitely type more if you like. Thanks again for your response! I'm getting the hang of this slowly and already this is fantastic. I was wondering though, is there a reason for the 100 character limit in the response area? It feels a bit restrictive. Also, could i propose an idea for initial users to be able to describe themselves to the character they have created before getting into the full conversation? The area to describe the player gets most things needed, but there are some bits that the character I made is making assumptions about. Apparently I have several scars, and she assumes I have hair. (Wrong on both, and with the limited response character limit, it's not too easy to correct her) Instead of a small box, maybe have a character ask a few questions for the user to describe themselves? It will help players get used to the conversational side of the AI as well. "*Kandi smiles and starts writing notes on her notepad* Ok thats great, so your name is 'Player', could you tell me a bit about your appearance? [Player response] Perfect, so your caucasian with hazel eyes and no hair, got it." Something like that maybe? I know it might not be easy to impliment, but it might be an interesting introduction idea.
