Here is a new page, finally!
I've been terrible at keeping this comic updated for a while now. Several months back I received a nasty message from someone I loved. It was about this comic, and it was a very mean homophobic and anti-trans rant. It hurt. I took it all very poorly and ran away from the patreon for a bit, for that I apologize.
I've had a hard time keeping this comic updated mainly because I never planned ahead. Sure I have the story written out, but I never planned for work to get in the way, for my mental health issues, or for any emergency. When I fall behind it gets overwhelming, and I spiral very easily.
Despite those issues, I'm optimistic about the future of this patreon. I've spoken to a few people about how to better manage things, and I've received wonderful advice. I'm also looking into ways to speed up the process of creating each page. It currently takes me two days to make a single page. I feel like I can do better.
Anyways, I love making this comic. I love telling stories. Thank you to everyone for allowing me to do this. Thank you for all your support and kind words! Here's to many interesting full moons with Danny 🍻

Heya CosmicPawn, I don't know how much you read the comment but I'ma give this a shot. This comic, the whole project you're putting together is an amazing piece of storytelling and art. It clearly comes across that you know these characters and have a good idea of where it's all going. It's impressive as all heck. The fact that life's been giving you the raw end, you took time away for yourself (and may need more and that's ok), and still have the desire to continue to tell your story is just so inspiring. I really want you to know that. Thanks for the update and this panel, and I hope you keep us in the loop so we don't have to worry about you when you go silent <3

I mean this with no hyperbole - this comic has been my absolute favorite piece of TG art I’ve seen in the last 25 years. It’s weird because there’s nothing here we haven’t seen a million times before - this is not original by any means - but there’s something about the writing and the characters that just feels so gentle and comfortable. The whole thing is like a smooth river rock. Delightful to hold in your hand. It just feels… nice. I don’t say this to complain about delays, but rather to let you know that for every human who doesn’t appreciate what you do there is absolutely someone else right behind them ready to tell you that you’ve been a positive influence on them. I adore your work and I know I’m not alone. Regardless if you continue or not, be certain that you’ve made the world a better, more interesting place for the work you’ve already done.
