Proof of Life #306: Rough deadline
🕑 Added 2026-02-02 13:38:03 +0000 UTCHello peephole! I mean- Hello people, how is your morning/afternoon/evening going? As with every Monday, I’ve come to let you know about the game and what’s going on with development. Enjoy!
I initially planned to finish the last scene of the update before today, but I went and changed the planning a bit. Instead of starting development on the scene right away after the last PoL, I decided to playtest everything up until the beginning of said scene to give myself some peace of mind and make sure everything worked as intended.
That means I’m still developing the scene as we speak, since I started working on it later, but I’m getting to the end. There are a lot of people involved and also some visual changes in the church I had to implement and test, so getting everything ready took some time, but all that’s left is mostly sound design and animations, so it’ll hopefully all be finished within the week.
As for release date, I’m still not able to give a precise date, but I’ll say at the end of next week so I can keep up the motivation and work extra hard to make the deadline. I still have the extra scene and the freeroams to do, so it might be tight schedule-wise, but I’ll make it work ; )

Usually, PoL are always written on a Monday, so if I make any references to period of times, you can usually assume it starts from said Monday. So in this case, around the week-end of the 13th/14th ; )

A lot of things, most likely^^ Knowing exactly what happened isn't exactly important to the story, so I'll probably make this the extra scene, unless I have a better idea.

Sometimes it's good to put a little pressure on myself from time to time~ The issue is whether the artist will be able to keep up as well, since one is on vacation until the end of February. They've been doing great work until now but I can't expect them to work extra harder because I've set up a deadline all on my own^^

Well, just imagine opening the door to the room where you used to sleep as a child with your adoptive sister, and finding naked the bastard that Leto explicitly warned Haylen not to let live with her. What really makes me curious is what happened in that room moments before Leto arrived. XD

In my opinion it don't mind if you dont meet the deadline as long as you focus and make sure everything is well done and work i dont mind it being late.
