Hello you freaky folks, I hope you’re having a swell morning/afternoon/evening! Another Monday, another PoL, another post full of news, drama, and philosophy~
I’ve done a good week of work, and I’ve been able to finish several narrative segments so that we’re now this close to the last scene of the update (if you could see me, you’d know I’m making one of those gestures where you put your thumb and index fingers together with a small space between them to indicate how close it is). Honestly, another hour or so of development and I can start development on it.
I’ll still have the extra scene left after that, but I just had an idea for it. Nothing too crazy though, but it’ll involve Haylen mainly.
This time, I did say there would also be a cameo of a character from a previous game like the last Lily quest, but it turns out they’ll have a much more important role in this quest than previously planned. I actually had to remove them from the screenshot above to avoid spoilers.
Oh, and I guess I can say it now: I have an extra happy ending planned. A small one, a few minutes long at most. However, it’ll only be made available if you’ve finished Haylen and Lily’s storylines. That means there will actually be 5 different endings although, as I have said, one of them will be pretty short.
No news yet on Haylen’s new portrait. That sucks, but it’s not surprising.
Anyway, that’s it for today! I’m hoping I’ll have finished the main part of the update by next week, so all that’s left is the extra scene and the freeroams.

I’m curious to see which side Haylen will take in this conflict. XD

Haylen will be doing a lot of moves during this update, but I'm not sure if the Aywin move will be part of it.^^

The way I'm seeing it right now is that it will start the same as the happy ending for a little while, and then a choice will pop up for people to branch out into the secret ending.

The extra happy ending sounds interesting. Is it something that will be tacked on to the originally planned happy ending based on whether you finished the Haylen/Lily quests? Or is it a totally separate happy ending?
