I feel like I’m losing my mind because nobody brings up how it’s like someone on the production team sat down to watch the LOTR-movies right before making the citadel arc, right down to them just copying the warg skirmish with the anooba fight that happens. was this all in my head

You know, there was a Mutagen bomb plotline in the TMNT IDW comics. A big chunk of NYC was turned into mutants and they walled off that part of the city. Just animal people everywhere. Fun stuff.
