Y'all would love the Darth Plagueis novel tho. It's got political machinations, explorations of the nature of the force and the dark side, Palpatine's origins and his rise to power (he was like a trust fund baby with contrarian politics to his father). It also does a shit load of set up for episode one and ties into a lot of other books and comics from that time.

I love the question about OC Inquisitors with gimmicks! In truth, I love dreaming up characters. Maybe this isn't the most original, but Inquisitors already are basically assassins in black jumpers, so why not just have a guy who simply is a ninja. smoke pellets, maybe shuriken? here's the kicker, though: a lightsaber kusarigama. a short-bladed lightsaber hilt with a long lenth of chain hooked to it, then at the end of that chain? a miniature spinning hilt like the inquisitor sabers. Satisfyingly animating the chain while it's flailing about is one thing; doing so while there's an active propellor on the end? that's gonna be a huge chunk of this year's budget.

Ok if the Honda Civic of Star Wars needs to be a land(ish) vehicle, the answer HAS to be Luke's T-16 Skyhopper, it's never onscreen in the movie, but it's canon that he tinkers with it a LOT and uses it for racing around and other dangerous bullshit. The landspeeder in ANH is his "work vehicle" if anything
