Oh I forgot. Spiders have claws on their legs if you look closely. So in a way, Miguel is more spider than any Spider-Man/Woman/Person/etc..

I just saw the movie in theater today. It was great. Miguel O’Hara/Spiderman 2099 is a ‘vampire’ caught me by surprised but it makes sense if you know about actual spiders. They do have those wickedly long fangs and most actually drink their prey to feed. Edit: There is even one species referred as “Vampire Spiders.”
