🕑 Added 2022-11-05 01:51:03 +0000 UTCSo, a mage is a person who prays/worships/gives offerings too to 1 of 3 beings in exchange to wield a particular element of magic from thin air. The stronger their faith/loyalty/reliance on their being, the stronger their elemental magic will be.
One of the ethereal brings is responsible for the elements of water, ice, & darkness, another fire, electricity, & light, and the last rock, ground, & plant. These beings reside in another plain and unreachable, even though many have tried. Some hypothesize that a 4th being exists, yet proof of this has not been found.
A mage cannot wield MORE than one element. Only a person inherently born with the proclivity for magic can become a mage.
A mage who uses either, rock, ground, or plant elemental magic will pay respects to Gyhhelixm. The etheral being who resides in another plane altogether composed entirely of these three elements alone.
