As an adult, the rhythms of change take place at any point on the calendar, and the promise of a newly minted year number has diminished in significance. Most of the changes I resolved to make began over the last 6 weeks.
At the same time, I wish you all a Happy New Year, and hope for a less tumultuous series of events in 2023.
