Bit of a life update.

So i wanted to explain for a while why i've been so inactive and to apologise to everyone that i haven't been as active as i want to be.
In august 2020 my husband and I had an ectopic pregnancy and since then we have been trying for a baby without success. We've been going through a lot of fertility treatments and will be going for IVF later on this year. It's been very physically and emotionally draining, where i have had to undergo several procedures to resolve our infertility, some of which where very physically brutal and required a lot of recovery.
On top of this, I got diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease and Fibromyalgia as well as dealing with another auto immune disorder that causes Chronic pain and fatigue while investigating our fertility issues. so it's been hard to cope with both struggling to conceive and also being diagnosed with a disability all at once. Needless to say my mental health has taken a beating through all of this, but i'm trying to stay optimistic.
Due to the nature of my art, as you can imagine, it's been very very difficult sometimes to motivate myself to draw, especially when we've had a bad cycle fail or if im struggling emotionally. It can be nearly impossible to sit myself down and draw what i draw when all i can think about it how i would give anything for a family but sadly, can not. especially when we have experienced losses while trying. working on the art i do while recovering from losses and fertility struggles has been incredibly hard. but i still want to do it,
I love drawing and i love the community, I am trying my best to stay as active as i can and keep up with commissions and patreon stuff but sometimes, i just can't bare to look at it. so that's why theres been a bit of a dip in my art.
I want to keep drawing and will make sure to complete the projects im working on (dress up game) and will get around to doing all the YCH i owe, i don't want to let anyone down and will continue to work when i can, but i wanted to give everyone an explanation as to why things are slower than usual and if i'm not online as much.
I really appreciate everyone's understanding. As i said at the start my husband and I will be going for IVF later on this year all going well, so fingers crossed this won't be forever.
so TLDR.
I'm still going to be as active as I can but infertility sucks and drawing preg art while struggling is hard as fuck sometimes so I might be slower than usual.

I’m sorry to hear about this, Silky. As someone who has had family members in the recent past go through rounds of infertility treatments, I can understand on some level what you’re going through, and being an artist who works on creating this type of content must be equally rough. Taking the time that you need to heal and process! We’ll still be here for when you’re ready to engage with this type of content. Sending you and your husband my well wishes. 💖
