How to Create Sweet Double Stop Harmonies - Major Scale in 3rds!

For today's lesson, we'll further expand our lead guitar vocabulary and our understanding of harmony as we learn to create lush double-stops in the key of G major. Double-stops are two note chords, also known as "dyads," which can be used to create melodic fills, riffs, and solos. We'll begin this session by reviewing positions of our G major scale, before learning to harmonize this scale using major and minor 3rds. Let's get started!

The first couple of bars in your intro made me think of the Keith Urban song Only You Can Love Me This Way. I always liked the sound of Keith's opening acoustic riff, which he uses throughout the song. Now I know it's just a short scale run in 3rds. Very cool, thanks for the lesson.
