Funny that I thought of Karen Araragi before Suruga Kanbaru from *Bakemonogatari*. The only other suggestion that comes to mind is Michiru from *Brand New Animal*.

when struggling for who to suggest I can't believe I forgot that Umamusume and girls und panzer were sports animes. So freakin glad somebody threw in Rice cuz that's exactly who I would've suggested if I had remembered. Also, I'm really glad people other than me remember Pangya
