You are being duped by a lot of your audience. Most of these suggestions are just Middle Of The Road. Just because musicians are popular and or famous, doesn't necessarily mean they are talented. They're just popular. Yes? A whole other universe under this that you haven't even scratched the surface of. Please get out of the box you're in and start looking around. There's so much more! Anyway, I really do love your show. Honestly! There's a whole other musical horizon that has been untouched. Do your best. Love and respect what you are doing. So... I must say, really... that if I had to pick a classic rock band that has a plurality of votes as being the best, I would say it's Led Zeppelin, although, truth be told, they are second for me to the Beatles. (I'm just sayin'... I'm right and y'all are wrong ;)

Very cool idea actually . Many songs are better listened to in context of their parent album. Albums are put together with many ingredients mixed together. The songs key, tempo, speed , ballads and heavy must flow and fit together to make the album “work”. You could have individual “better” songs not making the cut because of the fit. I know you’ve done the Queen 50, but I’d like to have seen a full album play through with you , like Sheer Heart Attack for example. Good luck with the new format !

You have just made me a favorite man. I have said before that LZ is my all-time favorite rock band. And while I have many favorites, and they vary over time, LZ has remained in my top spot for years as my all-time rock band. I love your new format of playing the whole album first and then letting Amy select the ones for more detailed Second Listen analysis for YT. Something I have been in favor of for a long time. And as the self-appointed wardrobe adviser for the channel, I very much approve of the leather jacket for this series. Even though I know it is messing around about with the longstanding official Amy reaction outfit, I think we can make an exception for this series. I don't think it will hurt the brand. At least not as badly when Coca-Cola tried to introduce New Coke.😉

I'm so very happy with this news. Seriously, I cannot imagine anything greater, in my musical world, because, as I've said ad infinitum (and ad nauseam): If, for some unholy reason, I was only able to listen to the catalogs only of three bands for the rest of my life, I would choose THE BEATLES first... LED ZEPPELIN second... and PINK FLOYD third. To get right down to brass tacks: I really wouldn't need to hear any other music for the remainder of my life... if necessary. So, Vlad + Amy, on this very sad day for me (my old stomping grounds... Malibu and Pacific Palisades are no more...), your news of this new series is probably the best news I've heard in a very long while... so... thanks!

Hopefully this works out for you. Listening to individual songs can be nice, but albums become very important going from the late 60s into the 70s and beyond, as you've already heard with Sgt. Peppers and The Wall.
