Tier Change
PLEASE DO NOT PANIC, NOTHING IS CHANGING FOR EXISTING MEMBERS!
In light of the recent financial difficulties I've experienced and given the sheer volume of content that I've produced for Patreon, I've made the difficult decision to raise the price of new Fanta's Friends and Fanta's Friends Plus memberships. EXISTING MEMBERS WILL NOT BE AFFECTED, AND WILL CONTINUE TO RECEIVE FULL BENEFITS FOR THE FORSEEABLE FUTURE. No other tiers will be affected.
NEW Fanta's Friends memberships will cost $7.50 USD per month, and Fanta's Friends Plus will cost $10 USD per month.
What This Means For You:
Nothing, essentially! Due to how Patreon works, I cannot modify an existing tier's price, so the existing "Fanta's Friends" and "Fanta's Friends Plus" tiers are now named "Fanta's Friends (2021-2024)" and "Fanta's Friends Plus (2021-2024)", respectively, and can no longer be joined. The new tiers with the new price points are named "Fanta's Friends" and "Fanta's Friends Plus", respectively, and have access to the same benefits as the original tiers.
All benefits for both existing and new tiers will continue without any changes.
In the future (6 months from now or later, at the EARLIEST) I may begin to limit exclusive content posted to the original Fanta's Friends/Plus tiers as a way of encouraging users to move to the new tier, but this isn't a concrete plan and I will ABSOLUTELY give warning/explanation if/when that happens.
IN THE MEANTIME: if you're an existing Fanta's Friends/Plus member and are interested in moving to the new tiers, you can do so by navigating to my page, clicking the Membership tab, and clicking "Change Membership" under whichever new tier you desire.
Thank you so much for your ongoing support, it means the world to me and quite literally pays my bills. I'm able to produce my best content when I'm not staring down the barrel of a balance sheet, so I hope that this move doesn't come across as selfish or miserly - it's a necessity for me if I want to stay independent and do this full-time. I hope that you'll continue to enjoy my work for a long time to come
