Take #4 - What's up next with DB?

But I'm back this week already—let's begin. This week, I really need to talk about what's happening with DB right now, as there are a couple of things I just can't enjoy. But first, I'm currently working on that Android 21 set. Here's what it looks like so far:
I must confess I like the way the pink skin looks like.

Alright, with that being said, now… let's talk about Daima and the current DB situation.
- About Dragon Ball Daima:
I'm very disappointed… I loved the way Daima looked at first. It was interesting, full of lore, and introduced new concepts that were worth exploring… and then they messed everything up just to add fanservice. Don't get me wrong, I like fanservice. It's cool to see that the people making these products acknowledge their audience. But I still can't understand why they would add something like SSJ4 out of nowhere, only for it to be forgotten and never mentioned again!? Out of all the non-canon ideas they could have chosen, they went ahead and picked the WORST one!! How did that even happen? What was that conversation like? "Let's make a new series that takes place between DBZ and DBS but respects almost nothing from those two series, creating even more plot holes in a franchise that's already full of them—just for the sake of it!" I simply don't understand it… And no, I will not enjoy this just because it's Toriyama's last project. I don't care—it's simply wasted potential. Not every new series needs a new transformation to be good.
- About the current state of DBS:
I might be a fatalistic person, but I would rather Dragon Ball be canceled already. I don't know what they're doing right now, but it seems like they don’t either. Whatever happens next, I'm pretty sure we're about to experience the worst era of Dragon Ball. It feels like everything we knew is about to change—and not for the better… Legal issues everywhere. No one can animate anything, no one can post anything, no one can use anything… It's sad, but Dragon Ball deserves to rest already. Forty years is enough. Otherwise, it will pass the point of dying a hero and start living long enough to become the villain.

Yeah, I can understand that some who liked it before can still like it now, but there's a difference between loving something because it's good and loving something simply because you did in the past. But those who never loved it would focus on the reasoning and explanations behind these concepts, and unfortunately, those are really weak

The new transformation into Super Saiya 4 in Dragon Ball Daima is clearly a reference to Super Saiya 4 from Dragon Ball GT, yes. But that's all. The transformation in Dragon Ball Daima does not have a name. Kakarotto's appearance is just a reference to the appearance of Sun Wu Kong, the character who served as a model for Toriyama to create his "Son Gokû". Clearly, Kakarotto's appearance is in no way the transformation into Super Saiya 4.

Wish I could and saw you, but I'm almost complete opposite opinion on everything. I was elated that Super Saiyan 4 became Canon. There's so many weird things that become Canon and non-canon over the years in the series that it's easy enough to hand wave away crap like that if they want oh why didn't this happen, what about this? Etc etc. I'm glad it's continued. I look forward to what they do next. I was hesitant toward daima when it first started, but it got better over time. I'd love if they took more from DBGT and mixed it up into the series. Switch stuff up. Bring Baby back. He could be a sizable threat if done right. I love the manga. Newest chapter teasing other 'filler' characters as statues and bringing them into more Canon status. I love it. One Piece is my favorite series, but I'm glad Dragonball was brought back into the spotlight. The recanonization of Broly was so good and the plethora of new characters has been so good. Even with Toriyama gone, I want to see what's next
