And the work on v0.8 begins! Well I've already been working on it for a while but it now officially begins!
The v0.7 release went well. Reached an all time highest view count and daily sales on itch which is fantastic. My main takeaway from everything is that releasing on Friday/Saturday is a terrible idea. I normally work on the weekends anyway but the stress of the release and promoting and bug fixing wipes out the whole weekend, and working on bugfixes drunk at 1 in the morning isn't good for me or the content. So lesson learned, release on weekdays!
For v0.8 I think it's mostly going to focus on the individual girls stories and them interacting with each other, rather than the main quest. One of the main things I'm looking to implement is an outfit system, so for instance you could change Ruth into her dancer outfit and her stand and sprite reflect that. I'm also thinking of being able to buy special outfits and getting scenes for those. Would love to hear if you have any ideas of what outfits you would like to see!
If you like the game please consider leaving it a positive review. It really helps us out!
