So I heard Patreon is affected by those anti-pedo justice warriors as well and they're sending emails to creators warning them and asking them to remove all the child porn/hentai related pics from their patreon page or their account will get removed. It's real.
This is a very sensitive case as we anime artists in general share the same fate as being targeted a lot lol (and that is why I stopped posting my arts on DeviantArt. Oh boy that place is overwhelmingly crazy on this subject) as we know that we tend to draw female characters in a way that makes them look a lot younger compared to Western style art. Hope I'm on the right track on explaining this.
And... you know, many Asian countries (where I live included) tend to see these "mature" issues really differently. I mean look at majority of anime girl characters in general... most of them are under 18, which is wrong to be portraited sexually in USA, but we rarely see people yelling "SHE'S TOO YOUNG" when we see a porn of 15-16 years old anime girls in where I live... or in other surrounding countries, or even in many European countries. The laws are even different.
And there's this really thin line of judging whether a fictional girl is too young or not when it's in anime style art, you know? Like... well some hot milf with 30 years old in some anime still looks like a 15 years old girl for some Western audiences due to the artstyle.
This leaves the big hole of trouble to us drawing fanarts of anime girls. No matter how young they might look, they could be of any age, and it could somehow leads to trouble.
Amatsukaze here is a good example. She looks young, but hell she's a ship without exact age definition. She's inhuman so there's no way to point out that drawing hentais of hers is against the law as it is not, but as soon as the character has some sort of an official wiki saying she's even 1 second less than 18 years old, drawing porn of that character suddenly becomes a crime. You get the idea.
And not just the age alone is problematic enough, the body type is another big issue. You'd see this kind of small and slender body type without any boobs starting to grow as a definitely too young and start arguing is this girl over 18 or not cuz she doesn't look like she's over 15, but in many Asain countries, many ladies over the age of 20 still have this body type and it's a common thing.
So far I still haven't yet to recieve any warning because I believe I don't usually go over that area, and even if I came closely there, I'd post just the safe preview and link the full arts elsewhere more mature and witch hunter-free, but hearing this kind of thing going on around is disheartening.
Patreon is not to blame on this issue as it is a site based on North America policies (Am I right on this?) and they'd have to put up some safe shelter for themselves, too. They did their best on sending a warning to the creators first , which is really greatful.
I wish all people in the world some day would learn others' perspective and respect the others' preferences. Somewhere else in the world, dating a 15-16 years old girls is not a crime. I personally don't lean towards on favoring that idea as I normally prefer hot boobs when it comes to sex, but I don't hate flat/lolis. I truly respect and understand people who does, especially when it comes to fictional characters.
We learn to comprehend. We learn to accept. We learn to respect. I hope the world would just move on like that, some day.

If you are worry that someone after seeing 18+ stuff with fictional loli will leave internet and go rape a real loli, well... the full responsibility should be on the person who commit the crime, right? For example, it's possible to make bomb based on basic chemistry course, but we don't blame chemistry teacher for teaching his assigned duty, in any country, right? NSFW stuff can be prohibited in some contry, but, first of all, it's still protected by freedom of creativity. Second, internet doesn't below to any country, so the rules are dictated by website policy, and Fuya-san didn't break them so far. Third, Fuya-san don't advertise his arts anywhere where he shouldn't do it (as far as I know it), and all his official pages has warning about inappropriate content (for some people\laws) before you enter it (websites also has their own protection and warning, which you must have read and accept), so you can't blame artist that you accidently seeing stuff which makes you uncomfortable. So, SJW, what you even doing here? You didn't pay artist for NOT doing stuff you don't like, you have no legal voice, you accepted artist's (and website's) rules. Finally, if any country don't like the content of the web, it can block it - this is exactly what is happening in Russia right now. No one give a shit about SJW and thier words in Russia anymore, because from legal point of view all NSFW sites are blocked (or will be blocked if found, SJW can just report the web adress to goverment), and if someone somehow went on blocked page through proxy,well, it's beyond anyone responsibility, consideration and you can only blame yourself. As long as we are able to draw the line between what is fictional and what is reality, I don't think should be much of an issue, unless it's sole purpose to invoke violence or abuse (which pretty dang sure this isn't). It's awesome that you're willing to look into someone else perspective, and I hope you yourself gets treated with respect. I myself am not into loli but I'm not going to bash on those who are, it's just insensitive for me to do so. P.S. as far as you keep NSFW questionable images in category "for Patrons only" then I dont think you will have any issue. Also its sad story those SJW. Though its not that bad on Patreon as far as I know... on Steam its much wrose. There is huge war between SJW and FreedomFighters :)

Sorry to hear about all the trouble this situation is causing you and the points you listed did a really good job defending your arguments. As far as SJWs go, they eventually show up everywhere and I've seen some other creators make posts about them from time to time on how they may have to change their artwork but eventually things always seem to cool down. I'm sorry to hear that about that; it tends to be a lot of cultural things. For whatever reason, America's moral values tends to be very strict on these sorts of things. But at the same time, SJWs tend to be more vocal than actually dangerous, so I wouldn't be too worried. If you don't want to deal with people coming and being rude and offensive for just doing what you like, though, then I would agree with your plan to cut back on some places like DeviantArt. The Rika that won a drawing spot for one of these months comes to mind when I think about this topic, and I'm really looking forward to quite a bit. So I hope this won't affect your planned drawings in any way. Also, Amatsukaze looks really amazing so far! Nice job!

Hi Fuya, first of your English is perfectly good to read (though I’am not a native English speaker myself) and I think you brought your thoughts and points well across, especially given this is a difficult topic to some degree. And you are right the world would be a better place if people could just accept others opinions and differences, as long as those don’t hurt anyone (Because fictional stuff doesn’t hurt anyone but real child pornography is!). As far as I can tell it’s best to keep your distance and try not to draw any attention from those SJW’s (as you are already doing) because those people for the most part seem extremely unreasonable, ignorant und unwilling to accept different opinions and values but want to force theirs upon others …..Reminds one of some religious fanatics of past and present… sorry I had to. As long as you got no mail from those individuals or the like I wouldn’t think too much about it. If worst comes to worst, which I hope doesn’t happen especially because Patreon themselves would lose a lot from it, you are now quiet well know from kindred minded and could probably just do your own thing if necessary. Though I’am aware this would come with some challenges themselves. This is truly a troubling topic and I’am sad people like you have to worry about it for no logical reason.
