WIP 65% Gene
🕑 Added 2016-11-13 21:21:47 +0000 UTC Gene from PSO2 (September's batch)Lately I haven't been updated everyday WIP since I don't feel like posting the lining process. My lining is a mess and I do it so slowly, plus it's not the most impressive thing to show, so after the sketch, I'll skip to the early painting WIP screenshots.
So, the lining is done and I'm starting her skin paint. Hopefully I could finish within 2 days if things go smoothly.
I really can't improve my speed... I'm so jealous of those godspeed artists out there.

Thank you for your comment and cheerups, Setsunai. I've been down feeling I'm doing works so slowly. It's starting to get me and my work schedule ruined sometimes.

Hi Fuya, I was already wondering when you would mention your speed again. And because it’s been a while, I felt like writing something to it again. :D I may generalize a bit in the following sentences and I don’t want to offend anyone but the saying: “The grass is always greener on the other side” is appropriate in this case. As you admire and/or are jealous of the speed of other artists those artists may as well admire and/or be jealous of the details and quality of your work. I’am not saying there aren’t artists who can’t do both. Especially because I don’t know the exact amount of time, which artists with similar love to detail require for their work but that generally speaking it depends on ones art style. You may take a bit more time for your linework but to me what counts is the end result which is clean, smooth and full of detail. Regarding your posting of the lining process: If you don’t want to post it anymore that’s fine. Personally though I’am always happy to see you posting something and sharing your thoughts, even if I don’t comment on most posts I do read them all. On another note: In this post it seemed to me like you felt a bit down. I hope I’am wrong but just in case I send you my best wishes and a “Cheer up!” :)
