Ok that scene with the kid hit HARD. Speaking personally, helping kids like that would, A, be a great way to earn positive street cred and B, be a fantastic way to farm loyal people. Because nobody forgets help like that. Hell with Atlas he could even open up an orphanage/school and get these kids real help. Clean, free water, eventually good food, the works.

Tbh. Eventually the power scaling makes all fanfictions into world domination. Still. I do wish to keep this story more grounded. I want Cypher to stay a mostly grounded guy. Help people with his tech. Fix problems like Cyberpsychosis. Better Cyberware. The more world domination stuff can be Atlas' thing. Dude is even then underutilized.

Everything is great, but why is this another fanfiction about world domination or its salvation? Why do so few authors write stories on a smaller scale? Where is my friendly neighborhood spider who helps neighbors without worrying about the problems of the larger world?

Tftc! Ive got to say maybe it’s because ive played the game multiple times and watched the anime. But this is my fav fic of yours. I never watched GOT all the way through so there isn’t as much emotional investment in that fic. But I do love tyrant as well!

The only bad thing about this chapter is the cliffhanger I will have to endure. Very interesting why Cypher is so charitable to a kid with nothing to offer him. Despite the kids natural affinity for Cyberware tough to say. Really curious if the studio starts out as classic content managed for a new age and transforms into Cyphers love for porn leading him into being an actor. Honestly you are so consistent it's a godsend could not wait to read more Badlandsm
