"With Ms. Fleur?" She asked softly.
Ron awkwardly nodded. "T-Things happened between us after the end of the Tri-Wizard tournament."
"She hid it from you?" Amelia interrogated. Perhaps an occupational habit.
Ron nodded strongly. "She wanted me to… To finish… Um inside that night. She didn't want to burden me. But I told her I'll take responsibility! I'll take responsibility for everything, Madam Bones. For Fleur, my daughter, Edgar, and y—"
"Shhh…" Amelia tapped her finger on his lips. "You don't have to."
"I know you want to keep this a secret." A little bit of frustration leaked from his tone. "But I want to be close to Edgar. This is the right thing to do. I… I'll come clean to Hermione as well."
What am I saying? Hermione will never forgive me.
"Hmm, you've grown strong and well," Amelia said, stepping closer until her chest nearly touched his. Her hand gently caressed his hair. "I don't hold you responsible for what happened, nor do I harbor any hatred. In fact, I'm glad it happened. My dream of being a mother has finally come true, and it's all thanks to you. Your desire to be close to Edgar only brings me more joy, so don't burden yourself with guilt."
"Really?" Ron felt the restlessness in his heart fade away. He intently gazed into her eyes and felt his heart beat a little too fast. She was still as charming as before. Sure, not in the same league as the likes of Narcissa. But Ron felt a different charm from her. Her serious persona and her confident smile were hot.
I'm sorry, Hermione. I'll tell you everything once I'm back at school, and you can kill me. But right now…
His confidence bolstered by his hands on her waist, Ron gulped and glanced at her thin lips.
"I… I know you want this to be a secret but…" He gathered the final courage to say it. "Can I kiss you, Madam Bones?"
Stupid, stupid, stupid! She's not Fleur, you dumb boy. She obviously has no feelings for—

Good points. Molly’s is the kind of mum that when she get mad at you, it’s only because the thought of something bad happening to you will scare her to no end and if someone comes after or hurts you, they will be 100 times more scared of her than they will be of you. Ask Bellatrix (although she wasn’t scared but she didn’t live to tell the tale). On top of that, Molly very devoted to all her children in canon and I have no doubt she is just as devoted to her grandchildren in canon as well. Oh right!!! Fleur (born between 1976-77) is only 3-4 years older than Ron (born 1st March 1980). Amelia was born before 1973 and Arthur is one of her coworkers as well. Between the two, Molly is the more classical fiery redhead. Arthur’s more laid back but because of that, when you actually manage to get him mad, he can be possibly even more terrifying than his wife. Taking Hermione’s very compassionate nature which lurks underneath her academic persona (in canon, she wants House Elves to have more rights, be treated more fairly by their masters and can understand the culture that they follow), I can see her wanting to be a positive influence towards Ron’s children. P.S. Being the only girl out of seven children, I can easily see Ginny developing a close bond with Anne. I wouldn’t be surprised if in canon, Ginny is very close to her first niece Victoire (Bill and Fleur’s first daughter, they went on to have a second daughter as well as a son after). Being the first daughters of their respective Weasley generation would probably be good seeds for a bond to grow from.

True. I can see her accepting Fleur and Ron's child pretty easily. I mean, Ron got one of the prettiest witches. But there may be an issue with Amelia. She's almost the same age as Molly. But at the same time, Amelia is the Minister and has no intention of holding Ron back. It might take time but I think Molly will be proud eventually. Hermione's case is different. Her love is genuine and they haven't even done it yet.

I can see Molly’s reaction to the grandchildren situation: At first, she wouldn’t be happy that Ron fathered not just one but two children by two different witches at the same time, out of wedlock (I’m not too sure if she would be fairly conservative about the situation or she would be very open minded about it) and at a such a young age. But put her new granddaughter in her arms (I’m not sure when you intend to introduce Edgar or Anne to their extended Weasley family but if Ron intends to be honest with Hermione about his daughter, I can see him intending to be honest with his family as well which includes Harry), and Molly will turn into a doting grandmother in a instant.

I like how you write Ron closer to his canon counterpart: flawed but ultimately a good person and a loyal friend. In terms of badassery, he more closer to the books than he is in the films (I read up that a lot of Hermione’s awesome moments in the films were actually Ron’s in the books, please correct me if I missed something). Looking at this story, I feel now that in a more realistic setting, Ron (at least in his teenage and possibly young adult years unless like in canon, he settled down young with Hermione) would be a Jack the Lad type fellow: he definitely has the Casanova lover skills down and in canon, Ron got so drunk on his wedding night, that he doesn’t remember what happened, so he might like to drink as well. Age wise: who the older of Ron’s first two children in this story? Is it Ron’s son with Amelia: Edgar or his daughter with Fleur: Anne?
