When I initially saw the title without the thumbnail, I thought of Boss from AI: The Somnium Files, but giant scythe is also good!

no no no you definitely needed a giant scythe, don't kid yourself. everyone does. I have two just in case

This got me thinking about the other scythe wielding boss you fight in Dark Souls, Priscilla. I just now realized, that they both turn invisible when you fight them as well as both being in a painted world. DS3 really did a lot of subtle callbacks to earlier games, on top of the in your face OMG this is literally Anor Londo(I still don’t understand this one).

The thing you mentioned about making something look worn and dirty is a thing a lot of TV series costume designers seem to miss. The end result looks cheap almost every time.

I haven't fully decided yet, but I'm definitely going to wait till you sit at the bonfire and then I'm going to backstab you to start my 5th phase. Every nth new game plus though you'll be whacking your way through Farron's Keep and suddenly you'll see the "Heir of Fire Destroyed" pop up randomly and it will have been a -1 phase.

Can't wait to see how this progresses! I appreciate how the 3D print can match either the scythe your character wields or the one stowed on her back, depending on whether you choose to attach the blade. Looks like there's no shortage of big honkin' rosaries available online.
