Lol yes like the prev comments said, they have hiphop roots and their songs are heavily influenced by that, but u guys have been introduced to them thru their pop songs. I recommend watching the MV for this song and reading the lyrics (ALWAYS read their lyrics they always have meaning, even if you read the lyrics after watching/listening to their songs first I strongly advise reading the lyrics after) 💜

lol it's funny that y'all don't think it's like them since y'all were introduced through their more poppy songs but bts have always been heavily influenced by hip hop and it's only more recently that their music softened up

It's deff not a joke. Their stuff was more hip hop/rap in their earlier days. That is how the song is performed though, there isn't anything shaky or wrong about it. Seeing the music video would've been better.

Lmao, this is mpre their hip pop side, it’s mostly rap and the lyrics is about dissing their haters, that’s why it’s kinda aggressive. I guess u guys still a pretty new to kpop, but this is a very commen theme, and bts was a hip pop group from the start and then they started with other genres in music eventually.

The song lyrics is a diss to their haters cool to see the music video of this (also if you maybe pause less the song will grow on you? Because how can you pause it again and again for a few seconds and actually hear the song? Because you listened to it for 6 seconds pause it again and another 5 seconds and another 5 seconds (only hearing snippets of the song (also meant with no offence please don’t take it the wrong way :) really really didn’t mean anything rude (oh yeah also, perfectly normal if a song isn’t your taste absolutely normal but I think you should listen longer before pausing for a few seconds and pausing again when listening to the song to actually hear the song more?)
