Patreon pause and changes to its purpose
🕑 Added 2020-07-24 17:20:50 +0000 UTCDerpibooru can no longer be funded through Patreon due to changes in their policies conflicting with content hosted offsite on Derpibooru..
As such this Patreon will be paused for the next billing cycle (triggering on August 1st), and over the next month converted into an artist project for vector artwork, of the sort previously granted as rewards, with recurring rewards for patrons. A non-finalized preview of that can be seen here.
Anyone not interested in such artwork and that was only interested in continuing to support Derpibooru financially should cancel their pledges before the end of August.
Alternative methods of supporting Derpibooru will be announced on that site.

Will past "unused" pledges made via Patreon carry over towards vector rewards or will they be reset?

Sorry to hear about the challenges. Do you have a resource regarding these new policy changes? In the meantime I will definitely look into creating a SubscribeStar account.

Curious to know if Patreon contacted you to strong arm these new policies or if this is a voluntary change. This kind of monopolistic practice is probably illegal, but enough people will have to speak up to get it noticed.
