I threw this in the Youtube comments but it wound up hidden (I assume by the YT algorithm for what are in retrospect obvious reasons) but I really appreciated how the image of the Vampire going into the sun when his quest for vengeance was complete mirrors that famous image of Thích Quảng Đức's protest against the American-backed South Vietnamese government's discriminatory policies toward the Buddhist majority.

After “The Wire” (created by David Simon, author of the book “Homicide” was based on), “Homicide” is probably the greatest cop show in history.
