You're right Atlan Forge , the first people to drink blood were fallen angels in Semitic, Babylonian and other mythologies. But that's the very first vampires, the next ones are something else, they're damned, cursed humans, not fallen angels. Plus I thought they were more Night Lords proxies, so the bat wings seem more appropriate.

I'm just messin' with you there's like 6 chapters that need bird wings and like, 1 that needs bat wings, so feather wings make way more sense business-wise

Haha was that sarcasm? I see where you're coming from, but, well the thing is, big black feathery wings seem more fitting for vamps in my opinion, more high class that bats. You know, it's thinking of vamps as fallen angels rather than mutated bats. It's how I see it at least.
